The evening events in the small squares of Borgo San Giuliano proposed by the Società de Borg as part of 'Esco in scarana', now in its eighth edition, are back.

The 'summer vigils' are occasions to meet, listen, have fun, in the first person, stimulated by themes inspired by history, tradition and contemporary society.
They are good opportunities to get out of the house... even with one's own scarana (chair), as the title suggests.

The 2024 edition is mainly dedicated to exploring the theme of the XXII Festa de Borg, which will return to animate the Borgo on the weekend of 6-7-8 September 2024.

Between conferences and an original film review, visitors will be able to get closer to the Festa, ready to enjoy its varied musical proposal, in line with the chosen title 'Taca Bilòz: 100 years of Rimini to the sound of music, dance and good living'.

The first appointment, on Thursday 11 July, at the Cloister of the Church of San Giuliano for the conference IL PONTE DEI DUE IMPERATORI (THE BRIDGE OF THE TWO EMPERORS), with guests Pier Luigi Foschi and Gaetano D. Rossi, who will present the book of the same name dedicated to the Bridge of Tiberius.

It continues on Thursday 1 August in Piazzetta Pirinela, with the conference RIMINI BETWEEN THE TWO WAR (1920-1945), a period in which the foundations of Rimini's tourism industry were developed.

The third appointment with a strong musical imprint is the conference on Thursday 8 August in Piazzetta Pirinela, entitled FROM CLUBS TO BANDS, with testimonies and anecdotes of the beat generation as it lived on the stages of the Romagna Riviera.

Oreste Ruggeri with his book LA RIMINI DEL ROCK'N'ROLL (THE RIMINI OF ROCK'N'ROLL) will be the protagonist of the fourth meeting in the Cloister.

The fifth and last "live" event will be entirely dedicated to RIMINI DISCO, on Thursday 22 August in Piazzetta Pirinela, and will offer an excursus among iconic clubs, charismatic deejays, and courageous entrepreneurs who have enlivened Rimini's nights; Betty Miranda will conduct.

All the proposed events will be held at 9 pm. The conferences are free admission and in case of bad weather will be hosted at the Cinema Tiberio.
