EVENTO TRASCORSO
October at the museum for families
Comune di Riccione
The "October at the Museum for Families" event will continue in Riccione on Sunday 13 October (4 p.m.), on the occasion of the National Day of Families at the Museum, with the appointment "In the potter's workshop" at the Museo del Territorio. During the event, families will be able to take part in a workshop led by the experimentalist archaeologist Riccardo Chessa, assisted by Andrea Tirincanti. The archaeologist from Archeoworld has reproduced the moulds of the terracotta slabs from the Roman period found in 1989, and on this special occasion participants will be able to make their own architectural slabs guided by the experts.
Sunday, 20 October (4 p.m.) will be the turn of the event "Che mito il museo!" ("What a Myth the Museum!"), which will include an animated mythological reading and a historical walk through the ancient village of Riccione Paese, in the company of tourist guide Dina Maria Vittoria Gravina.
Sunday 27 October (4 p.m.) will instead be dedicated to "Coderdojo", a computer lab for boys and girls, during which they will be able to create games and stories with themes related to archaeology, guided by programmer Daniele Barzotti, founder of CoderDojo Riccione.
The "October at the museum for families" event will end on Thursday 31 October (4 p.m.) with "Un Medioevo da paura!" ("A scary Middle Ages!"), a Halloween-themed afternoon focusing on some terrifying historical medieval depictions, organised by Andrea Tirincanti and Claudio Ugolini.
