Francesco Alberici (Ubu Award 2021 as best actor/performer under 35 and star of the web series Cynical Education) draws a vitriolic portrait of the disastrous situation in the world of work. "Bidibibodiboo", a finalist text at the 56th Premio Riccione for Theatre, recounts the travails of a young employee: hired on a permanent basis by a large company, and perhaps targeted by a superior, the boy slowly falls into a persecutory spiral that turns the hours spent at work into a nightmare.
The Riccione Prize jury underlined how "the author recounts, with dry verisimilitude and effectiveness, the protagonist's fall into the corporate underworld: attacks, shame, dismissal, omission, liberation. The result is an ironic and desecrating representation of a generation grappling with a dramatically ruthless world of work.
